Spurred by successes of previous ‘Canada-India’ education events and the heightened level of interest, the International Centre for Education (ICE) is delighted to invite you to a ground breaking and strategically timed push to India with a one two punch featuring a high level executive delegation called ‘Ed-Mission 2010’ from Jan 23-30 immediately followed by ‘unFAIR’, a unique HS| Guidance counselor & student focused penetrative school visits for recruiters from Feb 2-11, 2010.
While both ‘Ed-Mission 2010’ and ‘unFAIR’ will each cover key cities in India, the focus of these back to back events is uniquely different and so are the expected outcomes. ICE has once again teamed up with key partners such as the ICCC (Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce) and ICBC (Indo-Canadian Business Chamber) to arrange strategic meetings and coordinate visits with key influencers as both events demonstrate a joint effort from valued stake holders in the burgeoning and dynamic ‘Canada-India education corridor’. This joint mission will include participation by ICCC President Asha Luthra and ICBC’s Hazel Siromoni, an experienced India hand within academic circles and has the active support of its corporate well wishers.
Ed Mission 2010
(Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad & Mumbai) Jan 23-30:
- Canadian delegates will include University/College Presidents, VP’s & Directors of International
- Offices and Government representatives.
- Network with potential partners, affiliates and delivery providers. Focused site visits per city (eg.
- Studio/Animation studio visits in Mumbai, IT related visits in Bangalore…)
- Establish key linkages for Joint Ventures, ‘feeder institutions’, ‘India campus’ and faculty| student
- exchanges & recruiting.
- Introduction meetings set up with local NGO’s, State and Central Government bodies.
- Learn about developments in the Indian Governments new ‘liberalized’ education policy &
- establish your Institutional brand in India.

unFAIR
(Mumbai, Pune, Delhi & Dubai-UAE) Feb 2-11:
- Strategic visits to local High Schools in India & Dubai that have a history of sending volumes of
- students overseas. 18 HS visits already confirmed.
- Less glamour, more results! Meet HS Guidance counselors & build relations with key influencers
- to build a strong and sustainable local network.
- Ideal for recruiters who would like to get to know the local market better and save on expensive
- banquet style ‘fairs’.
- Attract a wider ‘target audience’ by meeting students directly in their classrooms instead of
- meeting souvenir hunters at recruiting fairs held at luxury hotels.
