“Ten law firms in Toronto have already demonstrated their support for the programme by creating work placement positions for programme participants.” Can you please confirm if these law firms only agreed to take on graduates from the ITL Program. Can you also specify which are these law firms?
Thanks.

The University of Toronto’s bridge programme will not fast-track the process of employment for foreign-trained lawyers in Canada, but it aims to significantly increase their odds of success. The programme will provide ongoing services, from the time students begin the NCA certification process to their successful employment as a lawyer in Canada. These services will include academic training to assist in preparing for the NCA challenge exam, language referrals, cultural fluency training, job search skills training, workplace experience, career counseling and services, and membership in a porno centre association.
On July 20, 2010, thank you mr. admin
thank you mr. admın

Whilst I would commend the initiatives so far, I feel that what is needed is a ‘fast-track process’.I say this because some of us may be very matured and very experienced Barristers. E.g. I am 66 yers old…from the UK…practised criminal law for over 24 years in that country until 2006.I would very much like to continue practice in the criminal field here…..there is not very much I need to learn….that research cannot address. Many of our English cases are citied over here….yet I find that the hurdles are so high that a man of my age will will find daunting…age is not on my side to spend years attending university again!!
